Debbie,
Two of my Great Uncles worked for the Rail Roads in Litchfield County, CT.
Daniel Patrick Seeeney (1867 - 1943) worked for the Central New England RR in Canaan, CT as a Car Inspector.
Thomas Joseph Sweeney (1878 - 1947) worked for the New Haven RR in West Cornwall, CT as a Gate Tender.
I found a book by Robert F. Lord, called Country Depots in the Connecticut Hills, copyright 1996.
Great stories and many pictures. E-mail me for additional info.
Ted Sweeney
Winsted, CT
