Mrs. Newell Miller, d. Nov 27, 1796

"In the Litchfield Historical Society Newspaper Collection there is this
death notice which appeared in the Litchfield Weekly Monitor dated
December 7, 1796 'Died on the morning of the 27th inst. Mrs. Miller, wife
of Mr. Newell Miller, of this town., in the 21st year of her age. She
bore a long and tedious illness with patience, and died in expectation of
the reward promised to the faithful Christian.' "
Newell MILLER was my gggggrandfather. He was born in Cumberland, RI and is of the 6th
generation of John Millard of Rehoboth, MA. (John1,Robert2,Ephriam3(MILLARD),Daniel4, Daniel5,Newell6 MILLER). His mother, who died when he was about 11 yr. was Lucy NEWELL MILLER, daughter of Jacob and Sarah FULLER NEWELL of Attleborough, MA.
I have been unable to identify who this Mrs. Newell MILLER was, where they were married, and/or where she is buried. Newell remarried--at least once and moved to the Saratoga and Rennsselaer Co area of NY. His childrens' names were:
Luke, b. 1800(my line),
Harriet Stillwell, b 1803(m. Reuben PRIEST),
Lydia (married unk ROBBINS),
William, b. ca 1820.
We don't know the birth order of the children, but Luke, Lydia and Harriet are the eldest. Depending on which census &/or death certificate one reads, Luke and Harriet were born in either CT or NY.
I believe Newell Sr. owned property in Litchfield Co in 1797.
Can anyone help identify Newell MILLER6's wives? Harriet's middle name of STILLWELL is one possibility (Harriet was a given name common to the MILLER family in this era, but NOT in the STILLWELL family til NY.
At the time of his death in Schaghticoke, NY in 1827, Newell6's owned property in Saratogaand his wife was Matilda....
Thanks for reading this book :-). Any help will be greatly appreciated.
