Seeking obit printed in Connecticut Western News, page 3, Thursday, 3 Nov 1898 for Mrs. Forbes Munson or Monson, nee Lucetta (or Luzetta) Blackney, age 42. Died 25 Oct 1898 at Gowanda, NY and buried there. Late husband, Forbes Munson or Monson, died 9 July 1893 at Niagara Falls, NY. He left Canaan, CT in 1861 and settled in Gowanda, NY. Mrs. Monson had previously been married about 1872 to a Dr. Lanxon, dentist, who died 1877. Thanks! Gowanda Area Historical Society, Box 372, Gowanda, NY 14070.
