Ed, I'm also looking for information on this family. Joseph Holley, of Freetown, Cortland Co., NY, was a witness for Stephen Holley's Rev. War Pension. Stephen also witnessed Joseph's pension app. They served in the same unit.

I'm trying to find something that might determine the relationship of Joseph to John and Stephen. Or determine who Joseph's father was.

Joseph was also in Vermont as late as 1797, when his youngest child was born. He was in Cortland County, NY by 1800. Hope to hear from you.
