I have been told that Isaac and Rebecca (Browning) Bull moved from Quaker Hill, Dutchess County, NY, to Kent, Litchfield County, CT, which was about four miles north of Bull's Bridge.
One of their daughters, Martha Bull, is said to have married STEPHEN WASHBURN in about 1769, and shortly after their marriage they moved to Bennington County, VT.
The problem I have with this information is that there are postings by various people who state four of the children were born before the "1769" marriage. Could it be that this was Stephen Washburn's second marriage? Or could it have been Martha Bull's second marriage and she was earlier married to a "Tabor" (the name of the oldest child.)
Puzzled in Minnesota, MaryLu
