John COOK, Jr. my 4 great grand uncle, b. ca 1772 of Salisbury, Litchfield, CT, d. after 1880 of Madison Co., New York, Oneida Co. NY, and Bergen Co., New Jersey [NJ]. He married Sarah or Sally MAIDEN NAME UNKNOWN.

3rd generation:
1) Dwight R. COOK [1807-1878],
m. Maryetta LEONARD of German Flatts, Herkimer Co. NY.
2) Jonas or Johnos PLATT COOK b. 1811, d. aft 1880 of Lenox, Oneida, NY, m. Catherine or Catharine FULLER.
3) possibly Stella COOK m. Mr. WASHBURN where John COOK was living in 1850 census, and
4) possibly Anson COOK.
My COOK family went to Oneida Co., NY [New York] and in 1880 John COOK, Jr. was 88 years young in Bergen Co., NJ [New Jersey], a shipjoiner. He may also have lived in Massaschusetts [MA].
