Daniel Smith & Mindwell Brush, m. 1773 Fairfield Co., CT

Seeking information about Daniel Smith, born 6 Oct 1751 in Stamford, Fairfield Co., CT, and his wife, Mindwell Brush. I am especially interested in learning about any children Mindwell Brush and Daniel Smith had. I am wondering if Daniel Smith and Mindwell Brush were the parents of my ancestor, Daniel B. Smith, born 24 Aug 1774; who married Clarissa Curtis in Warren, Litchfield Co., CT. Some sources say Daniel B. Smith was born in Warren or Kent, CT, but he could have been from Fairfield Co. before he came to Litchfield Co. to marry Clarissa.

Mindwell died 1 May 1840, Phillipstown, Putnam Co., NY (she was born about 1752/1759 in New Fairfield, Fairfield Co., NY). Mindwell was the daughter of Thomas Brush and Lucy Ball; she married Daniel Smith 24 Nov 1773 in New Fairfield, CT. Mindwell married (2) Abijah Starr. Daniel Smith was the son of Daniel Smith and Deborah Webb of Stamford, Fairfield Co., Connecticut. I do not know when Daniel Smith died (perhaps after 1790 or 1800) or where and hope to learn this information.

Abijah Starr was born about 1744, supposedly in Danbury, Fairfield Co., CT. He died 29 May 1839 in Putnam Co., NY (he was the son of Josiah Starr III (Capt.) and Deborah Benedict). Abijah Starr's first wife was, according to LDS IGI data, Rebecca Dibble, the daughter of Wakefield Dibble and Hannah (unknown) or Abigail Bostwick. Before Putnam Co., Abijah was in the 1790, 1800, and 1810 censuses of Dutchess Co., NY.
