I'm still trying to figure out the death of Howard in the SSDI in New Mexico. The birthdate is exactly the same as Joseph H. Belser (now I know to be Howard J.) in the vital records in Vermont. Someone did a lookup for me in the Albuquerque Journal and the Howard J. Belser that passed away had a spouse named Mary and 3 children. I attempted once by postal mail (with a SASE) and twice by email to contact the funeral director that handled the funeral and received no response. The Howard Belser in New Mexico had a son pass away in July of this year (age 43) so this is not fitting in with the Howard in Connecticut!!!!
I really, really appreciate the info and the help you have given me. This Cassidy-Belser family has really been a tough one.
