Pat, Thanks for the help. Talk about confusing! The surnames-even between the spouses-were spelled different! Also I have noticed that around the 1850's or so obituaries became more detailed in some newspapers, prior to that apparently not. I was hoping to find info on descendents, etc. Oh well, back to the drawing board! Thanks again. Best Wishes, Elise, Mn.
