Pearl (Robichaud) McGrath, 81, of Tariffville, beloved wife of the late Arthur D. McGrath, passed from this life peacefully on Monday (May 2, 2005). Born in Wales, MA, daughter of the late Benjamin and Delia (Taylor) Robichaud, she lived in Granby most of her life moving to Tariffville 22 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Pearl was the founder and owner of Pearl McGrath Mending and Alterations, which was in Granby for over 28 years before moving to Tariffville. She was a member of Life Church in Granby. She is survived by two sons, Anthony J. McGrath and his wife Maureen Dixon of Westfield, MA, and Arthur D. McGrath, Jr. of Tariffville; four grandchildren, Timothy, Rose, Sunshine and Joseph McGrath; four great grandchildren, Eric Christenson, Samantha, TaKara, and Nadia McGrath; two sisters, Blanche and Beatrice Robichaud both of Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 4 p.m. at Life Church, 23 Griffin Road, in Granby. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
