INHERN family of Hartford, CT circa 1900?

I'm doing some research for a friend of my parents on the INHERN family, from Hartford, CT. The last (and only?) thing I can find on them is from the 1900 census. Father is Daniel INHERN, born in Ireland 1840, immigrated to the USA in 1860. He is listed with 1 son, Daniel INHERN, and 3 daughters, Francis, Allice, and Margaret, all born in the United States. A woman, by the name of Margaret Brown who said she was from Hartford, CT, gave up a son for adoption in 1904, his name being Aloysius INHERN. Any of this sound familiar to you? If you have any information at all, I'd be so grateful. Thanks!
