I searched the Hartford Courant Historical Newspaper and did see the name of a John McCoy listed in three articles relating to Taxes/and selling of land. The date was 1785 and the town listed was Farmington, CT. Not much and maybe not your McCoy, but you asked for any McCoy and that is one! Good luck, Pat Notify Administrator about this message?
