Hello.
I looked in the Hartford Courant for Alice associated with the Collins name, nothing came up for me but if you ever find that this Alice Collins IS your Alice Bridge then ... I found the 1922 wedding engagement announcement of her daughter Helen.

Hartford Courant
Aug 16, 1922, page 11
Midsummer Engagements Forecast Fall Weddings
Miss Helen Beatrice Collins
Miss Collins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Collins of No. 37 Montowese street. whose engagement to Donald Ryder Witter, son of W. H. Witter of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. A. M. Waldron of this city, was recently announced. No date had been set for the wedding.

My note: There is a badly reproduced photo of Helen Collins above her egagement announcement.

If you send for this Helen Collins marriage certificate it may very well have the maiden name of her mother on it OR if you look for the obituaries of Alice's parents or siblings they may list an Alice Collins as a surviving relative.
Good luck.
