Various books list the birth place for my 4th great grandfather, Reuben Cook, as "Old Hartford, Western Division". He was born in 1747.
Can anyone help me in locating this place, or the area in Hartford where this would have been.
Also, does anyone have suggestions as to how I could identify his parents in this area.
