David Allen b. 4/20/1777 Ct?

I'm searching for the family of David Allen who was born 4/20/1777 according to Bible records. I believe that he was born in CT but his family may have been from MA. In 1799, David Allen left the New Harford, CT area with Eliphalet Austin's party and helped to establish Austinburg, OH. Family history that has been past down indicates that David Allen may have had 2 or 3 brothers. David was an apprentice at an early age. One source indicates that there were some Allens living in the Windsor/East Windsor area at this time. David may have been a member of this family. Some clues to David's siblings' and/or parents' names might be found in the names that he gave to his children. David's children included Ezra Gregory, Hiram, Horace, Charles, Alvah, Josiah Alvah, Thomas, Drucilla Rosella, Abigail, Mary Ann, and Susanna. I believe that the names Ezra Gregory and Josiah were from David's first wife's side of the family. Thomas may have been named after David's second wife's father. I don't know about the other names. If you think that my David might be a member of your Allen family or if you can give me any clues on David's possible family, please write and let me know. Any help would be appreciated.
Deanna Allen
P.S. David Allen and his first wife Ann Gregory's son Josiah Alvah Allen is my line.
