Because I was bored on a Sunday afternoon, I decided to see what I could find, if anything. The 1880 Census for Windsor Locks, CT has the listing below for household members. Windsor Locks is very close to the Enfield/Thompsonville area. Mary Curry is listed as a domestic and there is a George Holland listed as a servant. If you are looking at a handwritten record, Holland/Hubbard are very similiar. I looked for the Hubbard name and didn't find anyone in the right age range. Household Members: Name Age Herbert R. Coffin 39 - head Julia S. Coffin 40 - wife Arthur D. Coffin 12 - son Herbert A. Coffin 9 - son Grace P. Coffin 6 - daughter Thomasina Haskell 17 - domestic Mary Curry 25 - domestic Mary Murray 17 - domestic George Holland 28 - Servant Eliza A. Sandfear 52 - school teacher Where did you get the draft record? I imagine you mean for WW1, he would have been too old for WW2 if he was born in the 1880's. Email me at zanymar@yahoo.com, I may be able to help you more. Notify Administrator about this message?
