Need advice,Thompsonville??

I think I might have discovered a piece of information that may help me break my "brick wall".
I found a record, (WW2 draft reg. card), that states my g,grandfather as being born in Thompsonville, CT.
I understand that this is what we now know as Enfield?
I'm looking for a map of Thompsonville, circa.1880, with not much luck.
I do not know who my g,grandad's parents were, as he was taken in as a young boy, as a farm hand, in Lithcfield Twp.,Litchfield Co., CT.
I believe the orriginal surname was Hubbard, and he would have been born in May bet. 1882-1886.(my hunch is 1884). Pos. mother's maiden name is Mary Curry. Also, pos. 2 siblings, Arthur and May/Mae.
I would write to Enfield requesting a birth cert. but, I don't have much info. to go on.
Any history of Thompsonville out there that I havent found between last night and tonight?
Anyone willing to do look-up's?
Any advice?

Thanks!
