It would appear to be the same family.
In 1860, Helon and Louisa are residing in Porter (Ransomville), Niagara, NY with children Ann, Mary, Edward and Caroline. In 1870 Helon ('H.B.') is still in Porter (Ransomville), apparently living apart from Louisa and their children. In 1880, he is again listed as residing with the family.
According to _New England Families. Genealogical and Memorial_ (Wm. Richard Cutter, Vol. IV, 2157) Helon was born 29 Nov 1811 in Cummington, MA and died in Porter 04 Jul 1902. His parents were Elkanah Timothy (b. 08 Apr 1789, Derby, CT; d. 30 Nov 1850, Porter) and Clarissa (Tower) (b. abt. 03 May 1788; d. 29 May 1876, Porter).
Louisa Smith born 1823 in Northfield, VT, daughter of Elijah Smith, Jr. and Anna Robinson (see _Centennial Proceedings and Historical Incidents of the Early Settlers of Northfield, VT_).
In 1900 and 1910, Frank B. is residing in Manhattan (in 1900 his nephew Carlisle Joyslin Gleason, son of Louis Pomeroy Gleason and Ann Louise Timothy, is residing in the same boarding house).
In 1920, Frank is residing in Piermont, NY, with wife 'L. Anna M.' His widow Anna is residing there in 1930 with 'niece' Anna Sommers (another researcher reports that her aunt Anna Reinhard married Heinrich Sommers - see http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/f/r/a/Marcy-Fralick/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0164.html ).
