According to the Connecticut Death Index:
Maude G. Bryan died Dec. 13, 1953 and it lists her as married, not widowed, and spouse as George, age 65, and residence as Stamford, CT.
Georg C. Bryan died Aug. 22, 1959, age 73, widowed sp. Maud, Stamford, CT
You have to know when to use an "e" and when to drop an "e"!
As far as George's son, is this one possible the age is right:
Georg H. Bryan died June 27, 1969, age 59, married; Mona, Stamford, CT
