BRYAN, George Clarence

I am looking for information on George Clarence Bryan or Clarence George Bryan.

I hope that someone may have some information that I can use. My grandfather was married 3 times. His 3d wife is my grandmother. He had a son by his first wife that I have not been able to find much information about.

At the time of my grandfather’s death in 1929, according to his obituary, his first son was living in Stamford CT.

His son was born George C O’Brien on 14 Apr 1886 in Lowell MA. His mother died in 1889. His stepmother had the “O” dropped from the name after my grandfather married her. She died around 1900. My father did not know his half brother as George was 26 years old and on his own when my father was born. My father believed that his brother change the spelling of the name to Bryan and sometimes went by Clarence.

Searching through the census records on ancestry I think that I may have found some info about him. I believe that he was married on 4 Jul 1908 in Lowell MA to Maud G Shaw. They had two children. Virginia Bryan born 23 Sep 1915 and Raymond Harold Bryan born 21 Oct 1910.

The 1910 census for Lynn MA shows him as Clarence G Bryan.
The 1920 census for Lowell MA shows him as George C Bryan
The 1930 Census for Stamford CT shows him as George C Bryan.
At this point I have lost him.

Is there any way that I can find out if he stayed in Stamford? Did he die in Stanford? Where did his wife die? Where did his children marry and die?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Bob Brien
