I am looking for a Charity Hollister. I have that she was born in 1783 in Connecticut. In 1800 she is married to William Dakin who lives just across the state line in Franklin NY which is now Patterson NY. There is a Gideon Hollister living in New Fairfield in 1800. The Dakins and the Hollisters seem to follow along the same paths. Can anyone find a connection of Charity and Gideon? I have found a birth record for Gideon in the town of Sherman CT. Several of his children are born in CT and some in NY. Any clues would be helpful
