This not exactly what you asked, but, am hoping you might know something about later Rockwells. One of my g.g.grand- fathers was Frank Bishop, born in Wilton Ct. May 1861. He was the son of Charles Bishop, also born in Wilton, and Cornelia Rockwell, born in Weston. I think there is some sort of connection with the Porter family,as well, on the other side of my family, as my g.g.gr. parents, surname Tanner, are buried in a cemetery in Norwalk Ct. with some Porters. My father used to say that the Porters were "cousins", but, of course, I was too young at the time to care to ask how we were related.
