Santo Family/Norwalk

Need help trying to find information on the death of my Great-Grandfathers oldest brother, Joseph(J.) Santo. From bits and pieces gathered from those no longer with us, he was an arborist who died falling from a tree on the Old Post Rd in Norwalk or possibly Westport, Ct. in the early 1890's. His widow married Joseph's younger brother who was my Grandfathers father. From what I was told it was customary for a younger brother to marry a sibling's widow, especially if there were children involved. My grandfather was Anthony Santo he married Carmella Patrissi in 1915, they lived at the corner of Tierney St and Strawberry Hill Ave. Norwalk. Any help would be most apreciated.
