Searching for the grave sites of Zephaniah Briggs (1736-1837)
and that of his wife Patience (Newton) Briggs (1753-1829) who
are supposedly buried in/near Sherman CT. Geodedic survey maps
show an unnamed cemetery off Briggs Hill Rd south of the town
of Sherman. Would this be the place? Is a reading for this
cemetery posted anywhere on the web? Does anyone know for
sure where the Revolutionary War veteran is buried? Thank you.
