Thanks for thinking of me Ardith. I also came across the Osborn site just two days ago, but forgot to add it to my favorites. So I appreciate you sending it on to me. I'm hoping I can get info about the dairy.
I did get Peter back a bit to his grandfather, who was also named Peter married to Lois. Their son was Ephraim. Ephraim and Abigail Olmstead were (2nd)Peter's parents. Ephraim was married twice and so Peter had a bunch of siblings, Elizabeth, David, Ephraim, and Lois from Ephraim's first marriage to Mary Merwin. And Peter, Mary, John W, Harriet, and Laurinda from Abigail.
If I hear anything on the dairy, I'll let you know. Thanks again for the information.
