Thank you Ardith! My Peter Osborne was born March 30, 1796 and died November 30, 1867. His wife Catherine H. Banks was born January 2, 1810 and died February 27, 1894. Both are buried in New Aspetuck Cemetery in Easton, CT along with their children; Ephriam and his wife Helen, Betty and her husband Charles Hyatt, and Aretta and Coley Abbott.
Coley is my husband's gr gr grandfather. I have the name of Coley's father, Anson T. Abbott, but cannot find his mother or grandmother anywhere. I know that Coley's son, Charles was manager of Osbornedale Dairy which is now Osbornedale State Park. Do your Osbornes have a connection to the Dairy?
Your Peter Osborne was married the same year(1867)that my Peter Osborne died at age 71. I don't think they are directly related, but may be his nieces and nephews. Probably all descended from Peter and Ann Blythe's 22 children!
I appreciate all your help. Thank you very much!
