Thank you very much. It is possible that her father was Lorenzo Ruggles but I am not positive of it. She died in 1881 in Sugar Notch Borough, Wilkes Barre PA. I found one reference that Lorenzo Ruggles was an early "pioneer" in PA. I wonder also if her maiden name was Jackson? Whoever, her parents were, they seemed to be quite well off considering the amounts that she left all of her children. The children were Wagners and my Caroline Wagner had married a Ware. I also found a reference to two "Furnace Companies" in the Wilkes Barre area that were owned by Ruggles.
