By a stroke of luck, there was only one John Miller listed on the 1920 census for Stamford.
John Miller, age 50, born Hungary, laborer for the Water Co.
Julia, wife, age 38?, born Hungary
Albert, son, age 20, born Pennsylvania
Bertha, daughter, age 17, born CT
Michael, son, age 15, born CT
Anne, daughter, age 13, born CT
John, son, age 11, born CT
Frederick, son, age 9, born CT
Margaret, daughter, age 6, born CT
Elizabeth Yasser/Yassen?, mother, age 80, born Hungary.
The record shows Elizabeth came to the U.S. in 1897. I can't read the dates when John and Julia arrived. Also don't know if Yasser/Yassen was her name from a second husband after Miller or if she's really Julia's mother and not John's.
I checked the Ellis Island records for a John Miller with Magyar ethnicity and only found one that arrived in 1907 at age 41, so that can't be him, since we know he arrived before Albert was born in PA in 1900. Suspect he, Julia and Elizabeth all came in 1897. Also, couldn't locate any Yasser/Yassens that arrived from Hungary. Yasser seems to be of Austrian/Polish ethnicity as that is the origins of the Yassers I did find. As for Yassen, there were only two, one from Greece and one from Sweden. Not much help there. You may have more information than you shared on your posting. Does any of this look like a match for you?
