My father grew up in New Canaan. His family moved there in about 1930 when he was about 4, and he lived there until he got married, but continues to live in the area to date. He remembers Norman Dairy being active until about the mid-1950s. I'll quote his e-mail to me from here, "The building they worked out of is still there and is, these days, used by a nursery sales place. It is located on Old Stamford Road just below where the RR branch crosses. As to an actual farm, I am in the dark. I do recall that my Dad was aquainted with an Abe Norman (think the name is correct). And that is about all I do remember. A quick check shows two Normans in the telephone book but no telling if they are from the same family. Will let you know if I think of anything else."
