Bob,
In my previous post I stated that Harriet was born in 1830. It should have read 15 Jan 1854, and her death was 5 Feb 1880, so she obviously did die giving birth to Walter or very shortly thereafter. The 1830 date was for the birth of her mother Harriet Hawley.
