Francesco COLANGELO (b. about 1890) and Maria Libera GRASSO (b. about 1890) immigrated to Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA about 1910 and 1913 from Ariano, 'Dipuglia', Avellino, Italy. Their first son, Michael COLANGELO was born there on 17 SEPT 1913 -- address is listed as 235 Hamilton Street in Bridgeport, CT.
Sometime before 1916 they moved to Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, USA where their second son Dagostino was born on 6 JAN 1916.
Francesco COLANGELO had a brother, 'Tony" and sister 'Rose' that moved to the East Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts area but five (5) other brothers remained in Ariano, Avellino, Italy.
Assume they originally went to Bridgeport, CT because of relatives there -- either COLANGELO or GRASSO.
