In reply to Marvin, regarding the 3 Banjmin Cruzans:
Thank you for your reply. However, there is indeed proof that Benjamin H. WAS the son of Benjamin II. He is named in Ben II's will & as executor of it, he is named in a deed from his parents, he wrote a letter for his nephew, Benjamin Harvey, who was named after him to the government for nephew's civil war pension. All these documents are Marshall Co, IN documents (where I live) & others may not have them; I would be more than happy to share these or any other Marshall Co . documents, related to Cruzans.
I would also be glad to send you copies if you send your postal address to me, of his descendents for the record, as no one seems to have researched his branch.
He is mentioned in Mary Ann's book, Wm Stinson's book .& Ediith's book. However, they knew very little about him. He was a doctor, a teacher, & an inventor.
Benjamin H. is buried in Marshall Co, in Bethel Cemetery, not far from his father Benjamin II, who is buried in Salem Cem, Marshall Co, near Plymouth (where I live). [In your posting, you have Ben II being buried in Cross Plains ]. Marshall Co is in extreme northern IN.
I have also seen Benjamin I's grave in Cross Plains, Ripley Co, IN, which is in the extreme southern part of the state.
Anyone who is interested may contact me for more information on Benjamin H. Cruzan.
