Let me preface this by saying I just found out about my link to the Cruzan's a few months ago.
Nancy Jane Cruzan was my g-g-grandmother. I have her father as Israel Ross Cruzan; however, I've also found listings that her father was John Wesely Cruzan. Can anyone verify which one was her father?
Nancy married Thomas F. Chew, and they are on the 1860 census as living in Iowa. Their ages were 27 (him) & 24 (her), with 2 children: Alfred Lennox (b. 1857) and Sarah Jane Melissa 'Lissie' (b. 1859). On that census Thomas and Nancy share the household with John W (age 34). & Martha (age 31) Chew and their 6 children, ages ranging from 2-13.
