I am having trouble with my Cruzan line. The farthest I have back is to Robert CRUZAN b. 1808 in Scott Co., IN. He married Jane CRAWFORD on 6 Jul 1826 in Rush Co., IN. He died 9 Jan 1843. Some sources stated that he was the son of Benjamin Franklin CRUZAN and Sara Bell McMitchell (McMichael), but after I gathered information on them I found that they married in 1810 which is 2 years after Robert's birth. Most sources on Benjamin and family never mention a Robert. So I'm stuck. Could he have been raised by his uncle Ben? That happened a lot. Thanks for your help!!
