Hello, I read your post on Genealogy Forum. I believe we are related. My great-grandfather was William Henry Smith, husband of Carmelita Cruz. He would also be my mother's grandfather. My mother and I are working on family history and she has always wanted to find other relatives/descendants of W. H. Smith. We also want to learn more about H. C. Smith, who signed the death certificate for William H. Smith (I believe H. C. is William H's son but we have no records on this.)
