Finding my roots. Cruz in Oaxaca

I am a teenager living in the USA; I am a first generation immigrant and was born in the city of Oaxaca, Oaxaca.
My father discovered his Jewish ancestry in 1981. We have been practicing Jews for quite some time now. He believes our family was a victim of the Inquisition and so remained silent about their heritage until it was completely lost. Our last name, Cruz was found to be a Sephardic last name by the Catholic Church. I really need some help to piece my ancestry together, to know exactly what happened hundreds of years ago, who I am and if indeed I am a Jew.
My father acknowledges that he has ancestry from Spain and, but my mother is half Mije (native tribe) and Mexican. I am not sure if she has Spanish roots or any other. My father is Tirzo Cruz Cuevas (Cuevas is his mother's maiden name) and my mother is Maria Enriquez Ramos Cruz (Enriquez her maiden name, Ramos her mother's maiden name) I also know that Cuevas is often used instead of de la Cueva. I am interested in my heritage, Mexican, Mije, Spanish, and maybe Jewish. I have absolutely no contact with my family in Mexico, that's why I have no idea where to start. I am currently a typical American teenager with no connection to anything. Please help.
Sincerely
Viviana Cruz
