AS YOU CAN SEE, THE NAME IS SPELLED SEVERAL WAYS. MY CRUIT ORIGINATOR CAME FROM ENGLAND AND LANDED IN PENN. HE THEN CAME ON DOWN TO ALABAMA AND MADE HIS HOME HERE FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

HIS FATHER WAS NAMED GILBERT DISTIN CRUIT. MOTHER WAS ELEANOR MADDICOTT CRUIT.

GRANDFATHER'S NAME WAS GILBERT DISTIN CRUIT.

GREAT GRANDFATHER'S NAME WAS ROBERT CRUET. HIS WIFE'S NAME WAS JOAN SMITH. THEY MARRIED AT PAIGNTON, ENGLAND ON MARCH 20, 1767.

DOES ANY OF THIS INFORMATION RING A BELL TO ANYONE? IF SO, PLEASE EMAIL ME @

benji_2001@hotmail.com

Thanks
