My gr.gr. grandmother was Amanda Cruse of Ky. and her mother's name was Margaret born 1810 in Virginia. Amanda married Alfred H. Gadberry b. approx. 1820 in Washington Co. Ind. they were married 9/3/1843 in Davies Co., Ind. At some point in time, at least by 1854 they had moved to Illinois because that is where my gr. grandmother Joanna Hahn was born. Hope my Amanda Cruse is of your line.
