Searching for information on James Cruse who married Rebecca Black.
Here is what I have:
I was told that James Cruse came from Virginia to Chariton county Missouri with his brother Charles D. Cruse.
They are shown in the 1850 census in Brunswick Twp.

James and Rebecca Black Cruse had the following children:
1. Charles W. Cruse (my husbands line)
2. Fannie Cruse
3. Stanley Cruse
4. Bertha Cruse
5. Mattie Cruse

Who is James Cruse's parents and where in Virginia is this Cruse family from?
Also, any information on the children would greatly be appreciated.
