A Prosser Cruse (Crews) was born in early 1800 in Va, poss Bedford Co where his par John Crews and Clary Merritt married. Later, John Crews and Clary or Clarissa Merritt were listed at pioneers in Burke Co, Ga in 1805. Does anyone have record or knowledge of this? Clary was in Ky in 1820's, but John was not recorded with her. Who are his sibs, his parents and where did her die?
