As far as I know Henry Clinton Cruse had only one brother who lived to adulthood -- Phillip T. Cruse.
Henry Clinton was born September 15, 1850 and died April 13, 1918, He married twice in Union County, Illinois. (1) Mary Carter (born October 31 1850, died May 14,1890) on September 9, 1869 (2) Sena Lyerla/Leyerly (born ca 1859 and died ca 1932) on November 20, 1890.
Henry Clinton marriages produced 15 children (including a set of twins).
(1)Mary Carter Cruse's children were: William, Nellie, Effie, Ella, Charles Henry, Arthur, infant (died at birth in 1884), Willis Cleveland (sometimes called Chub)and George C.-- the twins and an infant (died at birth in 1888).
(2)Sena Lyerly Cruse's children were: Jesse A., Bruno Clinton, Rufus B., Ernest Phillip (my grandfather) and Ethel Clara.
