I have an 1850 Copiah County,Ms. census showing John Crump at age 76 living in the household with Sampson and Harriet Hamilton. I have thought before that my Mary C. Hamilton who m. my ancester Isreal Davis could be the daughter of John Crump or Sampson could have named her Mary Crump Hamilton. Could you shed any light on this for me.
