Claiborne Parish is home to many Crumps even today. My father was raised there, but not directly related. I know some there, but have not done too much with it since my father was born in AR as was his father.
My line is VA>NC>AR>LA, but there were others. From the TN clan some apparently went to AR and some to MS, but that's pretty close. Tell me who you are looking for. There was a John Crump in the Civil War that I believe was from Claiborne Parish, and another one I found in AR that was born in LA. Ed
