I had to laugh at the title "A Crump on Every Stump" ... I recently got interested in my father's 40 year geneology hobby and have discovered Crumps in both my paternal grandfather's family AND in my paternal grandmother's family. Seems that the Dykes and Crump families have been friends, neighbors, and relatives for 200 years (that we know of).
