According to the World Family Tree CD Vol. 2 Tree #3326
his father is Robert Crump who married Jane Lazonby. Their
marriage is recorded in the register of St. Lukes Parish
p. 40 (Queen Anne County, Maryland). Robert may have been the
son or grandson of William Crump who died in 1695 in Talbot
County Maryland. I have not been able to find how the tie between
Robert Crump in Georgia and Robert Crump in Maryland was established.
I am currently researching the Crumps of Maryland and have a
considerable amount of information on them. They appear to be using
the same pattern of names as the Virginia Crumps related to Sgt.
Thomas Crump. I am trying to see if I am descended from any of these
Maryland Crumps. I am a descended from Adam Crump and Hannah
Bushrod (Heale). Adam died in Virginia in 1753. No one has been able
to identify Adam's parents or establish any relationship to Sgt. Thomas
