My great grandmother, Nancy Ann Crump May, was born 14 March 1834 in Alabama, married Benjamin Franklin May on 18 September 1855 in Arkansas. Am searching for the name of her mother. Her father's name was John W. Crump. Her mother may have died when she was just a baby, and when her father remarried, he may have married a woman named Nancy. Any clues out there? Her half-sister, Mary Jane Crump, married a May also. I have a copy of "A Crump on Every Stump". Please contact me and I will try to help you get a copy.
