Frank, if her name was indeed Crump, there is a possibility she was the daughter of John Gregory Crump, of New Kent Co., who I believe died before 1850. His wife may have moved to the Baltimore are (right next door to DC). This may be why I do not have her on the 1850 census. I neglected Balitmore somewhat. John G. had a son who was a pharmicist in the Baltimore area, I believe. He served, I think in the Civil War. I would recommend locating her in the 1850 on a census. What per chance did she name her children? Good luck in your search!
