Thank you for the information that you had. This would explane why Frances Cavanah name appeared on the sale of land to Willie Sugg in 1823 of 200 acres and she did not appear on the 1852 and 1853 record of land to the David and Mary Thomasson who were her son in law and daughter.
I had heard that she went with one of her daughters to Tenn. but that was just loose information I guess.
My Gr Gr Gr grandfather signed over his rights to the Thomassons when his father David died in 1823 and does not appear on three sales of land.
