Crump, William Benton
Saturday morning, Jan. 29, 1972. Survived by wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Griffin Crump; one son, William Griffin Crump, Knoxville; mother, Lillian Gillock Crump; two sisters, Mrs. J.H. Wise, Augusta, Ga. and Mrs. E.D. Walker, Montgomery, Ala.; three brothers, Mureal R. Crump, Montgomery, Ala., Dr. Charles H. Crump, Mobile, Ala. and Walter E. Crump, Biloxi, Miss; one grandchild. Remains rest at the funeral home of Phillips-Robinson Co., 2707 Gallatin Rd. where funeral services will be conducted........Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery (Nashville).
Supposedly, this William Benton Crump was a son of a Wm. Munsey Crump. Does anyone know the parents of Wm. Munsey Crump or if this line connects in any way with the Nashville, TN Crumps of which some are also buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery?
