Ed,

Is this the Ed from Louisiana? We corresponded about 4 yrs ago re: John Weeks and Althea Booker. I'm the guy who went to Louisiana Tech. Today while doing research on DNA's I decided to look under the Harrison name because a John Cain Harrison was a 100% match to my 12 markers, but he never replied to my mail. Seemed strange that I would match a Harrison unless it went back 900 years. Anyway, I just responded to a message #4860 by a Ginger Weeks who is looking for the same John, so I gave her all of the scoop. The reply prob. isn't posted as yet but by the time you rec. this, it maybe. This might the key we have both been looking for.

How sure are you that John Weeks was b. in Wake Co.? If he was, I am suspecting that he is descended from the Carteret Co. Weeks', who descended from Benjamin Weeks and Mary Chase who migrated from Martha's Vineyard.

Let me know what you think. If you are the wrong Ed Crump, then please accept my apologies for the wrong message.

Walter Weeks
